Where they really differ
AI words a month. Hextom’s plans include 3,000 to 250,000 AI words a month. Unlost’s paid plans include 200,000 to 1,500,000. Unlost Starter ($13.99) alone includes 200,000 words a month for two languages.
Automatic updates. Hextom’s Autopilot for new and changed content starts on the Pro plan ($19.99, 75,000 AI words a month). Unlost translates new and changed content within a minute on every paid plan, starting at $13.99.
Where Hextom is stronger. The currency converter, the choice between AI models, image translation and the sheer number of languages. Unlost’s plans go up to ten languages, and more on request.

Paying yearly gives two months free. Words count once per language: 100 words translated into 3 languages count as 300. On every paid plan, new and changed content is translated automatically within a minute; on Free you translate new content with one click.
What Unlost translates
Pretty much everything a shopper reads: products with their variant options, collections, pages, blog posts, menus and policies; SEO titles, meta descriptions, URL handles and image alt texts; notification emails; your theme’s texts, including text written straight into the theme’s code, like a Custom Liquid block; and the metafields your theme shows.
All of it is saved in Shopify itself, so it stays in your store if you ever remove the app. Product names stay as you wrote them, short texts like buttons and sizes get an extra check, and anything uncertain goes to a review list. Edits you make yourself are never overwritten.
